Downloadable Level 99 Characters? Hello everyone, I want to try out some charcater builds before i actually work on them on BNET and i have decided the best way to do that is to download some characters wit h all the skills and attributes un-assigned so that i can create them in Single Player mode first without having to work them up to that level. I know at one point there was this character pack circling around that had all the characters lvl 99 with everything un-assigned so that you could basically build them yourself. Does anyone now where you can get this or something like this? Thanks, Michelle. Click to expand.Yeah, well i did search google and quite often at that, as well as a number of other search engine and this forum using various terms, but each time i came out with nothing. I just thought someone might know here because it seems like you guys play often and it would make sense to plan your characters in this way.
I dont want to use a skill calculator because i would prefer to actually play the character and really gauge their ability in the game. I just want to excuse myself for causing any offense. I didnt realise there was such resentment and animosity between single players and BNetr's, I simply was curious if anyone had heard of this character pack.

Hi Michelle, Despite the words of the first two posters, there will be no flames. You've asked an honest question, and we're here to help. Yes, the pack was hosted by diabloii.net, but that was for 1.10 Beta testing purposes, not necessarily for character building purposes. It's been unavailable for well over 18 months now. If you really think you need one of these, fartingbob had it right - Google is your friend. Edit: Oops, you've tried that.
But if you want to post your theoretical build here, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the rich feedback you will receive. Click to expand.There isn't really an animosity per se, it's just that many among us are here to get away from the hacking, cheating, botting, and spamage of b.net.
And since those within this forum try to play as honorably as possible, we tend to feel slighted and upset when people assume that SP is a testing/cheating ground. Usually after a first post like yours, the poster degenerrates and comes around to say just that. Also, we aren't allowed to link to those sorts of things, and it's all over the the stickied FAQs and even at the top of every page, so the uninformed requests smack of disrespect for our forum and it's rules. Matter of fact, if you decide to come over to the SP side, and you make a proper intro, by tradition, you will be instructed several times to read said stickies (in addition to all the welcomes and the cookies provided by yours truly.).
